This is Winnows: time tracking for teams that bill by the hour. Timesheets, bill rates, approvals and reports, for nine dollars per active member a month. Here's a week at Fernway.

The week

The week is a grid: your projects down the side, the days across. Type hours into cells and they save as you leave them. When the week is done, submit it.

On the phone, the same week one day at a time. Start a timer from the bar at the bottom; stop it, and the time lands on today.

Approvals

Submitted weeks wait in one inbox. Open the week itself before deciding, then approve, or send it back with a note.

Rates and budgets

Each project carries its rates, a default and one per person, dated so a change never rewrites history. Budgets alert at eighty and a hundred percent.

Reports

Reports slice the same hours by client, project, task or person. Amounts are priced at query time, and anything unrated is flagged, never silently zero.

Billing export

When it's time to invoice, the billing export prices the month into lines for QuickBooks or Xero, and records what's been billed, so the same hours never invoice twice.
