Two people, one project, free. What that means and what it does not.
Most “free” plans are a trial with the clock hidden. Ours is a plan. Here is where the edges are.
What is free
Two active people and one active project, with the whole product: bill rates, the week grid and timer, approvals, reports in hours and dollars, the invoice-ready export, the Harvest importer. Wrap a project, archive it, start the next. The history stays and stays reportable.
What starts the clock
Growing past the plan. A third active person, or a second active project, starts a 14-day trial of the full plan. At the end you choose: subscribe at $9 per active member per month, or archive back down to the free plan. Nothing is deleted either way, and reports, exports and the API never lock.
A Harvest import counts as growing, because it usually is. Loading the sample data does not. Looking around is not the same as growing.
Why archived people are free
A contractor who worked three months last year should not cost a seat forever. Archive them and their hours stay in every report; only active people count.
What is not free
A second organization. The free plan is one. Paying customers create as many as they like, each starting on the free plan on its own.
